Asa Meshi Mae

As a child during a tough period, Hidaka Gen found comfort at a breakfast restaurant named "Asa Meshi Mae," which inspired him to pursue cooking. Decades later, now in his twenties, he revisits the restaurant to find it shut down and its owner deceased. The owner's daughter, Sayoko, is now a divorced woman raising a child alone. Gen is committed to reopening the restaurant that played a significant role in shaping his life.
