A manga adaptation of Jean Webster's 1912 novel, it follows the story of an orphaned young woman who receives an anonymous scholarship to attend college. She is required to write letters to her benefactor, whom she never meets, detailing her experiences and progress. Over time, their correspondence develops into a meaningful relationship.
