Two high school students, Akari and Mikage, have been close friends since childhood. Akari has long had feelings for Mikage but has not confessed, choosing instead to support his friendship. Mikage, after being approached by a girl who confesses her feelings, declines, stating he cannot accept because he already has someone he likes.
