A young boy named Isami Nishitani loses his parents when the first stratospheric rocket ship, Luna Park I, explodes. His father, a chemistry professor, left behind a rabbit's ear that enhances human brain function. A scientist named Prof. Frankenstein uses the ear to create a human being. Seeking revenge, Isami becomes a test pilot for Luna Park III, an earth-penetrating train designed by Sullivan. Other individuals involved in the project include Isami's transformed pet rabbit.
