A long time ago, Izumo rescued a boy named Ryuta from a supernatural creature. He made a promise to return and go on adventures with Ryuta in the future, but eventually left without keeping it. Years later, Ryuta encounters Izumo again by chance. Despite Izumo having no recollection of their promise or of Ryuta, the boy, who never forgot and trained diligently in preparation, decides to start a journey with him regardless.
