Ayakashi wa Shousetsuka ni Koi wo Suru

A novelist named Aka has been able to see ayakashi since childhood, which made it hard for him to connect with people. His only companion was his late dog, Shiro. He encounters Rintaro, an ayakashi resembling Shiro, who enjoys human interaction and lives among them. Inspired by Rintaro's cheerful nature, Aka begins to see the world differently. However, this shift in perspective is interrupted when Rintaro suddenly confesses his feelings to Aka.
