Azumi

A female assassin named Azumi is the central figure in the manga. The story starts some time after the Battle of Sekigahara, and as Azumi carries out her missions, historical figures and events become more prominent. Her early targets include notable supporters and generals of the Toyotomi Clan, who were anticipated to be key in a future conflict against them.
