Kiyo, a childhood friend and romantic interest of Haruko, moves away, leaving only a few messages behind: "I like to see Haruko's smiling face" and "You have to always smile." Determined to honor her promise to him, Haruko continues to smile despite their separation. However, one day, something unexpected appears before her. The story includes a one-shot titled "Kiss in the Rain."
