Yuuko is a 16-year-old high school student who struggles to connect with others and finds comfort in her dog, Pochi. During a walk, she meets Yamada, a popular and handsome classmate, who invites her to his concert at the summer festival. Eager and excited, Yuuko attends the event unaware of Yamada's hidden intentions. Witnessing the harsh reality of human nature, she makes a desperate and terrible wish under the starlit sky. Meanwhile, Pochi silently wishes, if he could speak as a human, to reassure her that she is not alone.
