Asahi is a seventh-grade student who struggles with physical activities. After joining the volleyball club in junior high, she left after a month due to difficulty keeping up. Disheartened by sports in general, she hesitates when a friend asks her to fill in for a badminton doubles match. Unexpectedly, she discovers a natural ability for badminton. The story also includes a separate one-shot titled "Hyakunen Ningyou (The Hundred Year Old Doll)."
