Yeon Hwicheon, a member of the Yeon Sect, is tricked by the Dam Sect, who seek his sect’s divine treasures, into an arranged marriage. He marries Dam Hwayeon, who is kind despite his facial scar, and they enjoy a peaceful life. The Dam Sect later exposes their true intentions, leading to the destruction of the Yeon Sect. Hwicheon narrowly escapes and takes shelter in a cave, where he discovers advanced martial arts techniques. He then experiences a time regression to the period right after his marriage. With this knowledge and improved skills, he and the Yeon Sect quickly draw attention from the martial arts world. Hwicheon, aware of the coming conflict, strengthens his sect’s martial arts and issues a challenge to the broader martial arts community.
