Yi Zhe viewed life as dull and empty until he encountered Xu Tangcheng, who became the sole source of warmth in his life. He withdrew from the outside world, focusing entirely on the relationship between himself and Tangcheng. He stopped caring about anything beyond that connection and became consumed by the pleasure it brought.
