Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu

A male student is among the lowest-performing in his school, where academic performance is visually represented in combat simulations under teacher supervision. Leaving an exam early results in a zero score. A girl named Mizuki Himeji, who was unwell during a test, left early and was consequently placed in the lowest class, Class F. Academic standing determines classroom conditions. Class A, the top class, has modern amenities including a large plasma TV as a blackboard, personal laptops, air-conditioning, and refrigerators stocked with drinks and snacks. In contrast, Class F has basic wooden desks, a dirty blackboard with no chalk, and broken furniture. The teacher offers minimal support for repairs, and the room is filled with dust, spider webs, and a musty odor from old tatami mats. The protagonist, unhappy with the disparity, teams up with friends to develop strategies to challenge Class A in a battle, hoping to win their better classroom and equipment.
