Bakkure Ippei!

A baseball team struggling at the bottom of the standings for two years acquires a talented free agent pitcher named Ippei Sawamura. Despite his troubled personal life, his pitching ability is at the Major League level. The team's pitching staff has suffered significant losses, and Ippei is seen as a potential savior. Three of his former high school teammates also join the team as the Giants place their hopes on Ippei's performance to restore the team's former glory.
