Won Do-Yeon, who struggles with obsessive-compulsive disorders, faces a difficult day when her home becomes overrun with cockroaches. She asks deliveryman Bok Geum-Ho to eliminate them, but he refuses and instead throws the insects into her house. After being rejected, Geum-Ho grows infatuated with Do-Yeon and becomes jealous. She hires an exterminator through a secondhand goods platform and contacts her estranged father, Won Hyuk-Su, who lives in the countryside. He travels to Seoul to help her. As Hyuk-Su, the exterminator, and Geum-Ho work together to deal with the infestation, a sudden death occurs, leading to a chain of cockroach-related events that reshape Do-Yeon's fractured family history.
