A person who died in an accident awakens with the consciousness of a doctor. Having spent fifteen years watching medical dramas, they picked up some medical knowledge but are unprepared for the reality of practicing medicine. They are assigned as the personal physician to Jin, the leader of a large rebel force who is suffering from a terminal illness. The medical practices in this world are brutal, such as using boiling oil on wounds and draining blood from patients already coughing it up. The new doctor enforces basic hygiene, like handwashing, which is met with curiosity. Jin is expected to die within three months, and it remains uncertain whether the inexperienced doctor can save him.
