Hayeon senses an eerie presence around her but has never been able to see ghosts. When she encounters Hu-an Lee, a boy who can see and battle ghosts, she becomes entangled in his unusual world. Hu-an is not a typical student—he is a half-ghost. He recognizes that Hayeon is different, though he cannot determine how. Others are equally unsure of her nature, whether she belongs to the human or ghostly realm.
