In a world shrouded in pollution, Kyle, a hired fighter, discovers a nameless girl with limited speech abilities inside the ruins. She identifies herself as Nine and possesses an unknown combat skill. For reasons unexplained, Kyle is recognized as her master. Together, they journey through the deserted world in pursuit of Heaven's Gate, a place believed to lead to a better existence. Their relationship shifts throughout the journey, at times resembling that of family or something more. The mystery of Nine's tears, despite finding hope, remains unresolved. The narrative explores their evolving bond in the context of a dying world.
