A post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure, this manga follows a young girl as she rises to become "the child of destiny." She gains the power to liberate her people and pursue vengeance for her brother's death. Originally published in the 1990s, it was recognized with the Shogakukan Manga Award in the shoujo category in 1992 and became a notable title in Japanese shoujo manga of that era.
