BEATLESS

A 17-year-old boy named Arato encounters Lacia, a striking android with a mysterious, powerful black device. In a future Japan 100 years ahead of the present, human-like robots called hIE are common, often seen as tools. Some hIE, however, possess technology beyond human capability, and Lacia is one of them. Her presence introduces Arato to a complex web of danger and uncertainty. As he navigates this situation, he must confront difficult decisions that could affect not only his own future but that of humanity as a whole.
