Bee-be-beat it!

At Dokuritsu Tenjin Gakuen, academic performance is determined through daily student battles rather than traditional exams. Students earn grades based on their rankings in these contests. Hattori Kyousuke and Kujou Hachie, childhood friends, attend the school together. Hachi is recognized as the strongest freshman girl, while Kyousuke is only slightly above average. Kyousuke is determined to improve, driven by a childhood promise: if he defeats Hachi in battle, he will marry her, or she will be required to marry her cousin instead. To fulfill this promise, Kyousuke must significantly increase his strength and rise through the ranks.
