A high school freshman named Mika cannot attend cram school because of her family situation but remains determined to enter her desired university. She approaches another student, Rippiyo, who achieves good academic results without attending cram school, and requests help learning how to study independently. The two decide to study together in preparation for their upcoming entrance exams.
