A man encounters someone unusual from his childhood, and when they meet again years later, the person's appearance remains unchanged. This individual is a zashiki-warashi, a type of youkai believed to bring good fortune. The story centers on the relationship between an office worker and the zashiki-warashi, who displays a tsundere personality.
