Black Guard

A sudden invasion of creatures known as "shojo" has overwhelmed the world, with their bites spreading a virus that transforms victims into the same kind of monster. In response, people have taken refuge in floating cities and organized fighting groups called "guards" to combat the threat. One such fighter, known as the Blackguard, engages in battle with little concern for his own safety. His reckless behavior raises questions about his underlying reasons and the desire he seems to have for death.
