Kurogane Naoto is a high school student who lives a normal life with his childhood friend, Hayami Haruka. He has a unique ability in his right eye called "Hunter's Eye," which allows him to see people's Life Force as numbers. His routine is disrupted when he encounters a girl with an unusually high Life Force, who is not human. She identifies herself as Raquel Alucard, a vampire, and tells him to obtain the Azure. Naoto is then pulled into a violent conflict involving the Azure.
