A compilation of supplementary tales highlighting characters from the BlazBlue video game series was published to support the launch of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger. A follow-up edition, titled BlazBlue: Official Comics Vol. 2, came out in 2010 to coincide with the release of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift.
