In Japan, a system exists where convicted murderers are confined and executed using the same method they used to kill their victims, with the process broadcast publicly. Kaoru Oda, recently sentenced to death, is a man who killed his lover by strangulation during a romantic relationship. Kohei Mizutani, a prison guard, is chosen to carry out Oda's execution due to their similar body types.
