Boku no Pet

A man named Kazuomi creates clones of his childhood pets, expecting them to retain their original animal forms. Instead, they return as young girls who behave like typical household pets in human bodies. Displeased with the outcome, Kazuomi becomes irritated as his life is disrupted by their presence. He responds with coldness, especially toward one of them named Kazuo. The story explores whether Kazuomi will eventually accept and care for his new companions, whether a rival will surpass him in popularity at school, and whether another character named Kureno will stop being distracted by butterflies to achieve anything meaningful. The story is part of the anthology "Lovelies!!"
