Boku to Umi Kanojo

A boy named Mikane returns to a quiet island in Kyushu, where he is met with kindness from the community and a close friend who looks out for him. Though his father is stern, he is still caring. Despite these comforts, Mikane struggles with a sense of dissatisfaction and isolation. One day, he rescues a striking and enigmatic woman from the ocean. This encounter with the woman, whom he calls "onee-san," marks a turning point in his life.
