Bonten no Moribito

A peace treaty now exists between demons and humans after a time of war, requiring human warriors to protect demons from other demons. The Yosogi family is responsible for this duty, with Akira, the heir, being chosen as the next Demon Defender despite his inability to stand up to his older sister. Akira is the only one who can sense demons, making him essential for the role. His grandfather has brought in a shy girl named Matsuri, and Akira receives a warning in a dream that he must protect her at all costs.
