Shion Kimura moves to a new town and is concerned about finding a new hairdresser after letting her hair grow too long. While exploring her options, she is approached by Karin Ishiwaka, a hairdresser from a nearby salon, who insists on cutting her hair. Though Shion is not immediately pleased with the result, she keeps returning to the shop, drawn to the comfort provided by Ishiwaka. The story depicts the growing bond between the two as they support each other in self-discovery through their shared experiences with hair and emotional connection.
