In 1876, Takanosuke Arashi is tasked by the Edo government with delivering a confidential message to the United States. His journey is disrupted when pirates attack his ship, leaving him stranded with a varied group of passengers, a dog known by four names, and a fragment of a treasure map. Takanosuke's voyage leads him across the globe, visiting the Wild West, Morocco, and Baghdad. The race to uncover Napoleon's treasure begins.
