Brandoll

Fen Dytry is invited to join an elite royal military unit, but instead is assigned to a different SDF, a covert agency tasked with retrieving Bran Dolls—stuffed toys with amusing expressions. Displeased with the lack of prestige, he slowly grows committed to the role alongside his cheerful teammates. A character who appears to be a princess in disguise may actually be a man pretending to be a princess pretending to be a man, though the story does not clearly define any romantic relationships.
