A girl named Yuzu lives in a secluded paradise, constantly curious about the world beyond. Her peaceful existence is interrupted when a boy named Taro arrives and upends the status quo. It is revealed that her environment is part of an experiment conducted by a scientist from the futuristic city of Zelas. Yuzu is transported to Zelas, Earth in 2155, where the technologically advanced society has abandoned religious fear and engages in human experimentation. Alongside Taro and others, Yuzu seeks a safe haven and chooses to travel into space in search of it.
