Watanabe Chris is a high school teacher who gains an English-speaking stepbrother named Wataru after his father remarries. Wataru soon transfers to Chris's school, and both lose their parents in a sudden accident, leading them to live together. They develop romantic feelings for each other. As Wataru begins his second year of college, he continues his relationship with Chris. Meanwhile, Rei, Wataru's childhood friend and former romantic interest, who often cross-dresses, starts to develop feelings for Yamada, who has long been secretly attracted to Chris.
