Xiang Yang is a defiant teenager who disregards rules and shows little regard for others. He frustrates adults and instills fear in his peers. Mingxu, the class monitor, becomes intrigued by him and develops complicated emotions. Mingxu feels concern, pity, and anger, possibly even affection. Through consistent kindness and, when needed, firmness, Mingxu begins to influence Xiang Yang. The two navigate a path filled with both joy and hardship, raising questions about whether they can ultimately find resolution.
