Slava is an elderly man nearing death with two regrets: not mastering the martial arts he inherited and leaving his adopted daughter and student, Alma, an elf, alone. His final wishes are for her to find and study the school's hidden scroll and to find love, build a family, and be happy. Slava is later reborn as an elf with the same name. He learns that he was named after Alma's former master, and it becomes clear that time has passed, with Alma now holding a significant position in society.
