The world is home to a vast number of demons, with half of them living in Zhaoye City. The remaining half were killed in the northern region of Canlangli, which is governed by the Celestial Immortal Xiao Fuxuan. One demon survived there and has been imprisoned for twenty-five years. This demon is Wu Xingxue, the former mayor of Zhaoye City.
