A high school freshman named Makoto is afraid of expressing his emotions and fears a phenomenon called "Splitting," where intense dissatisfaction can lead to a manifestation known as a "Split." He prefers to keep his feelings private. However, his perspective changes when someone he admires experiences Fission Syndrome, resulting in a severe Split.
