Take Isamu is a sixth grader who sees himself as superior to others due to his academic success, athletic talent, and popularity with girls. He finds little value in engaging with those he views as average. When Kaname Moka joins his school, Isamu invites her out, but she misunderstands and believes he wants to fight. Moka is a skilled boxer capable of defeating multiple boys at once. Despite their mutual dislike—Isamu resents her aggression, and Moka dislikes his arrogance—they begin to develop feelings for each other. Isamu's confidence is further shaken when he discovers that Moka is not only more athletic but also more intelligent than him. The story explores whether he can overcome his pride and pursue a relationship with her.
