A homeless boy in a near-future New York survives by playing basketball against other children. He is recruited by a professional team composed entirely of humans, the first of its kind in the Space League. This league is now dominated by alien athletes, leaving few human players. The team's goal is to challenge the dominance of extraterrestrial competitors and win the championship for Earth.
