Rina and Hibiki are classmates and next-door neighbors with a tense relationship. To deal with a stalker, Hibiki pretends to be in a relationship and uses Rina as a cover, taking her first kiss in the process. Upset by the deception, Rina confronts Hibiki, who responds by suggesting she might as well fall in love with him.
