Two centuries after an asteroid impact, society is divided between those who are immune and those who are not. Im Yoon, a member of the nonimmune underclass, encounters Lee Haejin, a representative of the elite 0.001% who embody the peak of human advancement. Their relationship marks the start of a science fiction romance between individuals from opposing ends of the social spectrum. The narrative includes ten additional subplots.
