Hong Deok-Hye finds herself living as Seo Na-In, the protagonist of the romance novel *Love is Takeout!*, where she was meant to end up with the main male lead, Cha Min-Ho. Instead, she desires a relationship with the secondary male character, Min Gyu-Hyeon. While working at a cafe, Na-In witnesses a murder—Gyu-Hyeon's girlfriend is killed, and he is the prime suspect. The events unfolding around her deviate from the book's plot, causing her distress. Deok-Hye then seeks a way to escape this fictional world and return to her own reality.
