Camellia no Curtain

Tsubaki Theatre is known for its all-male cast, with actors performing both male and female roles, yet their artistry has made the company a leading name in Japanese theatre. Tsubaki Senior High School serves as a training ground for young actors aiming to join the company. At the school, Youichi Hachinoda, a former aspiring screenwriter who abandoned his ambitions, meets Hayashi Shingo, a trainee whose striking appearance often leads people to mistake him for a girl. Shingo excels in female roles, receiving praise from teachers and classmates, though he appears troubled by an undisclosed concern.
