In 15th-century Italy, Kaito, representing Cesare Borgia, discovers he has an unknown sister named Lucrezia. He is also introduced to a family heirloom, a poison known as "Cantarella." The narrative begins following Kaito's first encounter with Lucrezia, portrayed as Hatsune Miku.
