A professional woman employed at a hotel is approached by a lawyer representing her family, requesting her assistance in caring for a child for a three-month period. Initially mistaken for a doll, the child is revealed to be Hiwako, a member of the Jobe family who wears a fox mask and remains silent. As the woman dedicates time to Hiwako, she begins to undergo personal changes.
