Eishi is a well-liked student known for his intelligence, appearance, and athletic ability. He finds people and romantic relationships troublesome and prefers to avoid both. After being assigned by a teacher to assist a girl named Uta with her studies, he resists the idea of spending time with what he sees as a bothersome person. Over time, however, his feelings toward her begin to change.
