A young girl named Saya, who uses a wheelchair, is passionate about baseball and admires the sport. While receiving treatment at a medical center, she meets Akira, a high school baseball player. Saya dies in a car accident while traveling to watch Akira train. A Shinigami, moved by her early death, offers her 49 additional days of life in exchange for his own. Saya is revived as a high school student and joins the Kikugawa West High School baseball team, with the goal of reaching the Koshien Championship alongside Akira and his teammates. The manga was first released in five volumes, followed by three additional volumes.
