A boy named Yue has a weak and delicate constitution. After his uncle saves him from a ghost, he becomes determined to study martial arts and techniques for battling spirits in order to safeguard himself and those he cares about. Soon after making this decision, a mysterious internal system activates within him, informing him that he possesses soul points which he can use to strengthen his otherwise fragile body.
